On July 24, 2025, at the Meeting Room 910 ABC, 9th floor, Medical Learning Resource Center and Ramathibodi School of Nursing Building of the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, Professor Artit Ungkanont, M.D., Dean, together with faculty members from Department of Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiology, extended a warm welcome to Mr. Hua Liu, Deputy Director of the IAEA during his visit for the inauguration ceremony of the Rays of Hope Anchor Centre, Ramathibodi Hospital. On this special occasion, Professor Piyamitr Sritara, M.D., President of Mahidol University, delivered welcoming remarks to our distinguished guests.
The Rays of Hope Anchor Centre, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital represents a landmark achievement established through national collaboration, marking its distinction as the first institute dedicated to IAEA training at the Southeast Asian regional level. The establishment of this center reflects the shared vision of enhancing regional capacity building and fostering knowledge exchange among healthcare professionals across Southeast Asia, thereby contributing to improved patient care standards and medical practice throughout the region.
