On 12th, January 2023, Assoc. Prof. Piyarat Nuchpongsai, Head of Deaf Studies Department, on representation of Asst. Prof. Flg.Off. Chatchai Kunavisarut, Vice President for Student Affairs and Alumni; Acting Dean of Ratchasuda College, Mahidol University, along with lecturers and Thai Sign Language teachers and International Relations Unit Staff welcomed Dr. Beverly Buchanan, Faculty, together with lecturers, alumni and students from Lamar University, USA, total 20 persons. The purpose of this visit was to learn about Thai Deaf Education as part of their study abroad course on Thai Sign Language and Thai Deaf Education system and to meet Deaf students and Thai teachers who use sign language. The group of the visitors also visited the classrooms of Deaf students.
