
On October 25, 2024, a warm reception was held in Meeting Room no.2, the Office of the Dean, the 5th floor of the Administrative Building at the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University. Assoc. Prof. Vanlapa Arnuntasupakul, M.D., the Deputy Director of Ramathibodi Hospital, together with Assoc. Prof. Kittiphon Nagaviroj, M.D., Deputy Head of the Department of Family Medicine; Asst. Prof. Karn Suttapanit, M.D., from the Department of Emergency Medicine; and Ms. Jirawadee Matoon, Head of International Relations Section, extended a cordial welcome to the visiting delegation from the New Southbound Health Center, National Taiwan University Hospital (NTUH), Taiwan. The delegates from NTUH included Dr. Jen-Kuei Peng, CEO of the New Southbound Health Center, and Dr. Kai-Jung Lin, a Research Fellow.
During the meeting, presentations were shared by representatives from Ramathibodi Hospital. These included general information about Ramathibodi Hospital's services and outpatient management presented by Assoc. Prof. Vanlapa Arnuntasupakul, M.D.; an overview of the Department of Emergency Medicine's services by Asst. Prof. Karn Suttapanit, M.D.; and a discussion on the services of the Department of Family Medicine (general practice) by Assoc. Prof. Kittiphon Nagaviroj, M.D. Following the meeting, the NTUH delegates were taken on a site visit to the OPD Premium at the Somdech Phra Debaratana Medical Centre (SDMC).
