Visiting Scholars Program

The Visiting Scholars program is a faculty-level scholarship initiative designed to promote and support international expert visitors. Its primary objectives are to:

  • Advance modern knowledge in medicine and medical sciences through insights from renowned international speakers.
  • Foster the development of education, research, and academic services.
  • Build international networks.
  • Enhance the faculty's global reputation.

A clear work schedule is required for all visiting scholars. Ramathibodi is pleased to offer financial support in accordance with faculty regulations.


Adjunct Professor

An Adjunct Professor refers to an individual who is not officially employed by Mahidol University but possesses specialized academic, research, or academic service experience and expertise. These individuals are appointed by Mahidol University to the position of Adjunct Professor to perform duties such as:

  • Research
  • Innovation development
  • Technology transfer
  • Academic services
  • Teaching
  • Curriculum development
  • Providing academic, research, and educational consultation to students, staff, and faculty, or offering other forms of assistance to Mahidol University or its departments.
