May 20, 2025, at the Meeting Room, 9th Floor, Somdech Phra Debaratana Medical Center (SDMC), the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, the representatives of the Faculty included Assoc. Prof. Mongkol Kunakorn, M.D., Head of the Department of Pathology; Asst. Prof. Suchin Worawichawong, M.D., Deputy Dean for International Relations; Prof. Dr. Chonlaphat Sukasem, Chief of the Pharmacogenomics and Bioinformatics Laboratory, and Assoc. Prof. Apichaya Puangpetch, lecturer from the Department of Pathology, joined together to provide a warm welcome for a delegation from the Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (PCHRD). The visiting Philippine delegation featured Dr. Aimee Yvonne Criselle L. Aman and Dr. Loraine Kay D. Cabral-Zivanovic, both Science and Technology Fellows II, and Ms. Georgina Rae C. Cababa, Program Head of Omic Technologies for Health.
Prof. Dr. Chonlaphat Sukasem kindly provided the presentation and led a collaborative discussion exploring potential research opportunity. The session concluded with a site visit to the Pharmacogenomics Clinic which located on the 4th floor of the SDMC Building, showcasing Mahidol University’s advanced research capabilities in personalized medicine.
