Closing Ceremony of the “Training Program: Teaching Sign Language to Deaf Children for the Deaf Instructors from Wangsel Institute for the Deaf, the Kingdom of Bhutan”
On August 7, 2025, at Ratchasuda Institute, the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, Dr. Somkiat Leelasithorn, M.D., Director of Ratchasuda Institute, presided over the closing ceremony of the “Training Program: Teaching Sign Language to Deaf Children for the Deaf Instructors from Wangsel Institute for the Deaf, the Kingdom of Bhutan.” The program had been conducted from July 9 to August 7, 2025.
On this occasion, Dr. Leelasithorn delivered the closing remarks and presented certificates of completion to all participants, together with the lecturer team. This training program serves as a pilot initiative for capacity building and reflects Mahidol University’s Strategic Goal 3—supporting sustainable development through knowledge exchange in the field of special education, with the aim of enhancing the quality of education for persons with hearing impairments.
พิธีปิดโครงการฝึกอบรม “Training Program: Teaching Sign Language to Deaf Children for the Deaf Instructors from Wangsel Institute for the Deaf, the Kingdom of Bhutan”
เมื่อวันที่ 7 สิงหาคม พ.ศ. 2568 สถาบันราชสุดา คณะแพทยศาสตร์โรงพยาบาลรามาธิบดี มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ได้จัดพิธีปิดโครงการฝึกอบรม “Training Program: Teaching Sign Language to Deaf Children for the Deaf Instructors from Wangsel Institute for the Deaf, the Kingdom of Bhutan” โดยมีนายแพทย์สมเกียรติ ลีละศิธร ผู้อำนวยการสถาบันราชสุดา ให้เกียรติเป็นประธานในพิธี
โครงการฝึกอบรมดังกล่าวจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 9 กรกฎาคม – 7 สิงหาคม พ.ศ. 2568 มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้และทักษะการสอนภาษามือสำหรับผู้มีความบกพร่องทางการได้ยิน ตลอดจนเสริมสร้างศักยภาพแก่คณาจารย์จาก Wangsel Institute for the Deaf ผ่านการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ในสาขาการศึกษาพิเศษ เพื่อพัฒนาคุณภาพการศึกษาและยกระดับมาตรฐานการเรียนการสอนสำหรับผู้ที่มีความบกพร่องทางการได้ยินในราชอาณาจักรภูฏาน
ในโอกาสนี้ นายแพทย์สมเกียรติ ลีละศิธร ได้กล่าวปิดโครงการและมอบเกียรติบัตรแก่ผู้เข้าร่วมฝึกอบรมทุกท่าน พร้อมทั้งทีมวิทยากรผู้ถ่ายทอดความรู้ โครงการนี้ถือเป็นโครงการนำร่องด้าน Capacity Building ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับยุทธศาสตร์มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ข้อที่ 3 ที่มุ่งเน้นการสนับสนุนการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน
