On May 14, 2024, at the Meeting Room No.2, the Dean's Office, the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, Assistant Professor Suchin Worawichawong, M.D., Deputy Dean for International Relations, along with key faculty members including Professor Alisa Limsuwan, M.D., Deputy Dean for the School of Hospital Management; Associate Professor Usanarat Anurathapan, M.D., Assistant Dean for Research Administration; Emeritus Professor Ampaiwan Chuansumrit, MD., Professor Suradej Hongeng, M.D., and Assistant Professor Duantida Songdej, M.D., representatives from the Department of Pediatrics; Professor Kittinut Kijvikai, M.D., representative from the Department of Surgery; Associate Professor Thosaphol Limpijankit, M.D., Representative from the Department of Internal Medicine; as well as Professor Suthat Fucharoen, M.D., the Executive Committee of the Thalassemia Foundation of Thailand, were present to warmly greet delegates from the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University, China. The distinguished visitors from the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University were led by Prof. Pan Xiaoyan, M.D., Vice President and Chief Physician of Internal Medicine; followed by Prof. Huang Feng, M.D., Ph.D., Director of Academic Research and Deputy Director of Cardiology; and Prof. Wei Qiuwen, Director of Teaching Affairs and Chief Physician of Pediatrics. This meeting marked the beginning of discussions to explore potential collaborations between the institutions.
