On Monday, August 23, 2021, at Meeting Room no. 2, 5th Floor, Office of the Dean, the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, Thailand, Prof. Sirintara Singhara Na Ayudhya, MD, Deputy Dean for International Relations, as a representative of the Dean of the Faculty, provided a warm welcome to Mr. Herbert (Wei-Ming) Hsu, Deputy Representative, Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Thailand, and the group of delegates from the Thai-Taiwan Business Association (TTBA) led by Ms.Hsiu-Min Kuo, the current president, in a donations ceremony giving 6,000 TaiDoc. FORA Artigen test kits to the Faculty to the Faculty, in order to combat the pandemic. The donating ATKs will be applied to optimize the Faculty's potential in taking care of the green zone COVID-19 patients at the two Community Isolation areas under Ramathibodi's responsibility, namely the COVID-19 Patient Center at the Chao Phraya Commercial and Technological College, and the Community Isolation for the Blind (CIB) for COVID-19 patients.
On the same occasion, the Deputy Dean for International Relations also presided over the official donation ceremony of the 2nd batch of 2 billion Umbilical Cord Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs) to the Chakri Naruebodindra Medical Institute (CNMI), the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, which will become a new hope of breakthrough research for the COVID-19 treatments. Dr.Christopher Tsai, Chairman, Bionet Corp., Taiwan, also delivered his remarks via the VDO Clip. Back in May 2020, Bionet Corp. had kindly donated the first batch of 2 billion MSCs to CNMI in the hope to develop the research for treating Covid-19 patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome and agreed to donate the 2nd batch in August 2021.

ในโอกาสเดียวกันนี้ รองคณบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ ยังเป็นตัวแทนคณะฯ บริจาคเซลล์ต้นกำเนิด Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs) ชุดที่ 2 จำนวน 2 พันล้านเซลล์ จาก Bionet Corp. (Taiwan) ให้แก่สถาบันการแพทย์จักรีนฤบดินทร์ (CNMI) คณะแพทยศาสตร์โรงพยาบาลรามาธิบดี ซึ่งจะกลายเป็นความหวังครั้งใหม่ของการวิจัยเพื่อการรักษา COVID-19 ในโอกาสนี้ Dr.Christopher Tsai ประธานบริษัท Bionet ไต้หวัน กรุณากล่าวสุนทรพจน์ผ่านวีดีโอคลิป โดยเมื่อเดือนพฤษภาคม 2563 Bionet Corp. (Taiwan) ได้บริจาค MSCs ชุดแรกจำนวน 2 พันล้านชุดให้กับ CNMI ไปแล้ว เพื่อวัตถุประสงค์ในการพัฒนางานวิจัยสำหรับรักษาผู้ป่วย Covid-19 ที่มีอาการหายใจลำบากเฉียบพลัน และได้มีความเห็นชอบที่จะบริจาคชุดที่ 2 เพิ่มเติมในเดือนสิงหาคม 2564
