On November 6, 2024, Meeting Room 2, Office of the Dean, 5th floor of the Administration Building at Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, hosted a welcoming event for welcoming delegates from Cyberdyne Inc., Japan led by Dr. Yoshihiro Yasunaga, PhD, Global Sales Director, along with Dr. Hiroki Watanabe, PT, PhD, Researcher and Hybrid Assistive Limb (HAL) Technology Expert, Professional University of Rehabilitation; Ms. Nicole Tan, Business Development, Cyberdyne Malaysia, and Ms. Lua Yingning, Product Specialist, Cyberdyne Malaysia. The event was welcomed by Prof. Alisa Limsuwan, M.D., Deputy Dean for School of Hospital Management, alongside Assoc. Prof. Sirin Apiyasawat, M.D., Assistant Dean for International Relations; Assoc. Prof. Cdr. Sorayouth Chumnanvej, M.D., Ph.D, Assistant Dean for Innovation and Cooperation; Asst. Prof. Peeraya Ruthiraphong, M.D., FRCPhysiatrT., M.Sc., Assistant Head of Department of Rehabilitation Medicine for Research, and Ms. Jirawadee Matoon, Head of International Relations Section.
The meeting was arranged to explore the potential collaborations regarding Research and Development (R&D), Clinical Integration with Rehabilitation Medicine, and Wellness and Senior Living Initiatives.
