On November 6, 2024, Meeting Room 3, Office of the Dean, 5th floor of the Administration Building at Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, hosted a welcoming event for Assistant Professor Sandeep Bodduluri, Director of AI at the Center for Lung Analytics and Imaging Research (CLAIR) at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. The event was welcomed by Associate Professor Sirin Apiyasawat, M.D., Assistant Dean of International Relations, alongside representatives from the Department of Diagnostics and Therapeutic Radiology, including Assoc. Prof. Lt. Cdr. Dr. Thitiporn Suwatanapongchet, M.D., Head of the Thoracic Imaging Unit, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Chayanin Nitiwarangkul, M.D., a lecturer and Assistant Dean for Innovation and Cooperation. Also present were representatives from the Department of Internal Medicine, including Assoc. Prof. Yuda Suteerasarn, M.D., Head of the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, and Asst. Prof. Chakkrit Laikijmongkol, M.D., a department lecturer.
The discussions centered on exploring collaborative opportunities in Machine Learning and AI within the medical field.
