June 30, 2022, at De Prime Hotel, Rangnam, Bangkok, Prof.Sirintara Singhara Na Ayudhaya, Deputy Dean for International Relations and Research Collaborations of the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, presided over the official opening ceremony of the "Non-Communicable Disease Manuscripts Workshop" which held between June 30 - July 2, 2022. On this occasion, also attending; Dr. Latsamy Siengsounthone -Director-General, Lao TPHI, Prof.Boonsong Ongphiphadhanakul - Ramathibodi's Deputy Dean for Research, Prof.Ammarin Thakkinstian - Head of Ramathibodi's Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, and Prof.Wichai Aekplakorn - the Head Project of the National Health Examination Survey.
The workshop was the continuation of the project called "the National Health Examination Survey", in which the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital is co-operating with the Lao Tropical Public Health Institute (Lao TPHI) in the hope to encourage the research paper to be published in international journals of health science which will broadly provide a unique dataset regarding the Non-Communicable Disease occurring in the Mekong region that addresses globalized behavior-related diseases where the final outcome of the project will lead to achievement establishing a Sustainable Development Goals according to the United Nations Framework for the Development of Human Health Systems.
วันที่ 30 มิถุนายน 2565 ศ.พญ.ศิรินธรา สิงหรา ณ อยุธยา รองคณบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์และความร่วมมือวิจัยต่างประเทศ คณะแพทยศาสตร์โรงพยาบาลรามาธิบดี มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ให้เกียรติเป็นประธานเปิดงาน "โครงการฝึกอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการเพื่อตีพิมพ์ผลงานวิจัยภายใต้โครงการสำรวจสุขภาพประชาชนลาว" ร่วมกับ ดร.ลัทสะหมี แสงสุนทร ผู้อำนวยการสถาบันสาธารณสุขศาสตร์และการแพทย์เขตร้อน สปป.ลาว ณ ห้องประชุม ชั้น 9 โรงแรมเดอไพร์ม พร้อมด้วย ศ. นพ.บุญส่ง องค์พิพัฒนกุล รองคณบดีฝ่ายวิจัย ศ.ดร.อัมรินทร์ ทักขิญเสถียร หัวหน้าภาควิชาระบาดวิทยาและชีวสถิติ ศ. นพ วิชัย เอกพลากร เข้าร่วมพิธีและร่วมเป็นที่ปรึกษาให้คำแนะในการเขียนงานวิจัยนำแก่ผู้เข้าอบรมจาก สปป.ลาว
การประชุมเชิงปฏิบัติการครั้งนี้เป็นกิจกรรมสืบเนื่องต่อจากโครงการ สำรวจสุขภาพประชาชน (National Health Examination Survey) ซึ่งคณะแพทยศาสตร์โรงพยาบาลรามาธิบดีร่วมกับสถาบันสาธารณสุขและการแพทย์เขตร้อน สปป.ลาว (Lao Tropical Public Health Institute: Lao TPHI) โดยมุ่งหวังสนับสนุนให้เกิดการนำข้อมูลที่ได้จากการทำการวิจัยลงตีพิมพ์ในวารสารวิทยาศาสตร์สุขภาพระดับนานาชาติ ซึ่งจะทำให้มีชุดข้อมูลที่มีลักษณะเฉพาะในกลุ่มภูมิภาคลุ่มแม่น้ำโขง สามารถตอบโจทย์โรคที่เกี่ยวข้องกับพฤติกรรมตามกระแสโลกาภิวัฒน์ ทำให้เกิดการการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน (Sustainable Development Goals: SDGs) ตามกรอบการพัฒนาระบบสุขภาพของมนุษยชาติขององค์การสหประชาชาติ (United Nations)
