Ratchasuda Institute Welcomes the Institute of Teacher Education Ilmu Khas Campus (IPGKIK), Malaysia, to Explore Future Collaboration

On November 5, 2025, at Meeting Room 231, 2nd Floor, Administration Building, Ratchasuda Institute, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, Dr. Somkiat Leelasithorn, M.D., Director, together with Dr. Sunanta Klibthong, Assistant Director, and Dr. Issavara Sirirungruang, Lecturer, extended a warm welcome to Dr. Faridah Yakob, Director, and her team from the Institute of Teacher Education Ilmu Khas Campus (IPGKIK), Malaysia.

The IPGKIK delegation was given a comprehensive tour of the facilities, including undergraduate program classrooms, the sign language classroom, the Ceramics Workshop and Student Projects, and the Assistive Technology Unit for Persons with Disabilities (AT). Throughout the tour, there were invaluable opportunities to exchange knowledge and experiences regarding academic and educational programs, with discussions focused on support systems for students with disabilities and inclusive education practices that benefit all learners.

Following the tour, both institutes engaged in meaningful discussions exploring potential areas of partnership and mutual support. The IPGKIK delegation expressed their appreciation for the valuable insights and innovative ideas gained from observing Ratchasuda Institute's programs and facilities. They also shared their enthusiasm for adapting and implementing similar initiatives at their own institution to better serve their students.

This meeting marks a significant milestone in establishing a strong relationship between the two institutes. It represents the first step toward building a lasting partnership that will create opportunities for knowledge exchange, collaborative research, and shared best practices. We are confident that this relationship will flourish and lead to meaningful collaborations that benefit students with disabilities and advance inclusive education in both Thailand and Malaysia.
