On April 22, 2021, via the ZOOM online platform, Prof.Piyamitr Sritara, M.D., Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, presided over the opening ceremony of an international academic conference “RAmathibodi Conference of Emergency Medicine (RACEM 2021): in the distancing society, let stay connected ” which held during April 21- 23, 2021. This international conference, which hosted by Ramathibodi’s Department of Emergency Medicine, honored by several famous speakers and specialists both from Ramathibodi and overseas institutions with international recognition, including Prof. Amir Khorram-Manesh from Gothenburg University, Sweden, who also was a former visiting scholar at Ramathibodi in 2019; Dr. Morwenna Kirwan from Macquarie University, Australia; Prof. Tammie E. Quest from Emory University School of Medicine; Mr. Robert Dobson, Former Inter-agency Advisor and Trainer to Emergency Services London, UK, and Dr. Jimmy Jot from Asia Pacific-Hospital, Malaysia.
The subjective of this RACEM 2021 conference is to disseminate important and necessary knowledge on patient care at the scene of the incident to interested medical personnel, including doctors, emergency responders, doctors, and nurses, as well as relevant personnel. Moreover, the conference also aims to encourage the emergency medical staff to conduct research regarding the process of patient care both at the scene of incidents and at the emergency room. The conference expected to be a stage to establish the networks and partnership with hospitals and organizations involving patient care at the scene of incidents and emergency rooms.
เมื่อวันที่ 22 เมษายน 2564 ผ่านทางระบบออนไลน์ ศ.นพ.ปิยะมิตร ศรีธรา คณบดี คณะแพทยศาสตร์โรงพยาบาลรามาธิบดีเป็นประธานกล่าวเปิดงานประชุมวิชาการนานาชาติ “RAmathibodi Conference of Emergency Medicine (RACEM 2021): in the distancing society, let stay connected” ซึ่งจัดขึ้นเป็นเวลา 3 วัน ระหว่างวันที่ 21-23 เมษายน 2564 โดยการประชุมครั้งนี้ได้รับเกียรติจากวิทยากรผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิด้านเวชศาสตร์ฉุกเฉินจากทั้งในประเทศและต่างประเทศร่วมบรรยายให้ความรู้และแลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์ด้านเวชศาสตร์ฉุกเฉิน ในสถานการณ์ โรคติดเชื้ออุบัติใหม่ SAR-Corona virus ที่มีการติดเชื้อลุกลามไปทั่วโลก รวมทั้งกระตุ้นส่งเสริมการสร้างงานวิจัยการเผยแพร่งานวิจัยเกี่ยวกับการดูแลผู้ป่วยที่จุดเกิดเหตุและห้องฉุกเฉิน ตลอดจนแสวงหาโอกาสในการสร้างภาคีเครือข่ายของโรงพยาบาลองค์กรที่เกี่ยวข้องกับกับการดูแลผู้ป่วยที่จุดเกิดเหตุและห้องฉุกเฉินต่อไป
