On December 2, 2024, in Meeting Room no.3 on the 5th floor of the Administrative building at the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, Asst. Prof. Suchin Worawichawong, M.D., Deputy Dean for International Relations, warmly welcomed delegates from the University of Osaka, Japan. The visiting delegates from the University of Osaka this time included Prof. Ken Nakata, M.D., Director of the Center for Global Health, and Prof. Daisaku Nakatani, M.D., Ph.D., Osaka University Institute for Sports & Global Health and Vice director, Medical Center for Translational and Clinical Research, Osaka University Hospital.
The purpose of their visit was to engage in collaborative discussions on the Thai and Japanese healthcare systems, as well as explore opportunities for the upcoming annual Joint Conference between Ramathibodi and Osaka University scheduled for 2025.
The long partnership between the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, and the University of Osaka is based on mutual respect and collaboration. Together, they have worked on research projects, academic exchanges, and joint conferences, leading to advancements in healthcare and medical practices since 2016.
