Opening of Non-communicable Diseases (NCDs) Survey in Lao PDR

On February 24, 2020, Prof. Sirintara Singhara Na Ayudhaya, Deputy Dean for International Relations; Prof. Boonsong Ongphiphadhanakul, Deputy Dean for Research; together with the project participants from the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, attended the opening ceremony of the Project: Non-communicable Diseases (NCDs) Survey in Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR): 2nd STEP Survey 2019-2020 at Thalat, Vientiane, Lao PDR. On this occasion, H.E. Mr. Damrong Kraikruan, Ambassador, Royal Thai Embassy, Vientiane; Mr. Pattarat Hongthong, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Dr. Nao Butta, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Public Health, Laos PDR, presided over the Opening Ceremony. The Opening Ceremony was also attended by the Director of LTPHI, Director of Mahosot hospital, and distinguished guests from Thailand and Laos PDR attended as the honorable guest.
