On December 22, 2023, at 7th Floor Meeting Room, Somdech Phra Deparatana Medical Center (SDMC), the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, Ms. Patcharin Supapsophon, Deputy Head of Pharmacy Section, warmly welcomed a delegation from Meiji Pharmaceutical University (MPI) who brought by Mr. Amporn Songsiri, Ph.D, who is the Head of International Relations of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University, on the occasion of their visit to learn about the Pharmaceutical care system and the best practices of Ramathibodi Hospital. The group of professors from MPI was led by Prof. Dr. Kazuhiro Higuchi, the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences’ lecture, followed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ryoko Sakai, lecturer, and Mr. Keisuke Takabatake, pharmacist.
During the meeting, 3 MPI students who undergo training at the Pharmacy section of SDMC shared their knowledge and experiences in their presentation to the audience. After the meeting session, the MPI visitors were given a guided tour to see the operations of OPD and Clinical pharmacy as well as the pharmacy dispensing service at both Somdech Phra Deparatana Medical Center and Ramathibodi Hospital.
