• We are interested in studying virus infection in the brain barrier, specifically the blood- cerebrospinal fluid barrier, choroid plexus. We aim to develop 2D and 3D in vitro choroid plexus models and study the consequence of virus infection using multidisciplinary approaches. The goal is to understand the factors that allow or limit virus infection in this tissue and the consequence of the infection, such as cellular and immunological responses, to the brain function.
