ASEAN Continuing Education Scholarship
Objectives
When the Thai government announced it would join in the ASEAN Economic Community in 2015, Mahidol University realized the forthcoming importance of shared education and human resources around the region and setup the ASEAN Continuing Education Scholarship for candidates within ASEAN. All international candidates from ASEAN countries who are looking to enroll in the school’s Master’s or Ph.D. program are eligible. Successful applicants will receive 10,000 Thai Baht (approx. USD 320) per month for one-to-two years, depending on which program they enroll in.

Scholarship Requirements
A candidate must:
1. Be a resident of an ASEAN country (other than Thailand)
2. Meet the requirements of the course they are enrolling in
3. Be a teacher, government worker, researcher, or member of an educational institution, research institute, state enterprise, or other organization that is key to their country’s development
4. Express the intention to return to their home country upon completion of their education in Thailand
