Objectives
The rapid advancements in nursing and other fields of medical science in recent years has created a need for nursing education to evolve in turn. We now offer international students a chance to study nursing in Thailand and gain hands-on experience while practicing at Ramathibodi Hospital, Thailand’s largest tertiary hospital, over a period of two weeks. Participating in an exchange program gives students the opportunity to discover different cultures, practice their English language skills, and form new regional connections in preparation for the ASEAN Economic Community in 2015.
Admission Requirements
A candidate must:
1. Be at least a third year nursing student
2. Have a good command of English
3. Pass a standardized test of English held by Ramathibodi within the academic year, with at least 40 points
4. Pass an interview
5. Have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.80 on a 4.00 scale without having failed a course
6. Have not previously received this scholarship
7. Consistently participate in the course
8. Participate in events held by Ramathibodi for visiting international students
Required Admission Documents
1. Completed application with personal information and an essay written in English
2. 1-inch photo of the candidate 3. Candidate’s seat number ticket for Ramathibodi’s standardized test
The course is open for applications during January each year.
