On December 14, 2023, at the Office of the Dean, the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, Clinical Professor Artit Ungkanont, M.D., Dean, along with the faculty administrators, cordially welcomed a delegation from the United States Embassy in Thailand, led by Ms. Oraphan Boonyalug from the Commercial Section. The meeting centered on exploring collaboration opportunities focused on advancing future wireless network technology (Wi-Fi) and the allocation of 6 GHz frequency bands. This initiative is being supported by the United States Trade and Development Agency (USTDA), as well as key Thai organizations including the Department of Digital Economy and Society (DES), the Office of the National Digital Economy and Society Commission (ONDE - Thailand), and the Office of The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC), alongside representatives from the television and telecommunications sectors.
