Announcement: Austrian Government Scholarships for the Academic Year 2025/2026

The Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), has been informed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand that the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research (BMBWF) is now accepting applications from international students and researchers for government-funded scholarships for the academic year 2025/2026.

Scholarships of particular interest include:

1. Franz Werfel Scholarship – for students from all countries

2. Richard Plaschka Scholarship – for students from all countries

3. Ernst Mach Scholarship Worldwide – for students from all countries

4. Ernst Mach Scholarship for Applied Sciences – for students from non-European countries

5. Ernst Mach Postgraduate Scholarship (EZA) – for students from developing countries outside Europe

MHESI considers these scholarships valuable for the development of Thailand’s human resources and kindly requests that higher education institutions disseminate this information to interested students and staff.
