Research area
|
- Obstructive pulmonary diseases and pulmonary fibrosis are lethal lung diseases, involving dysfunction of pulmonary epithelium. Our research aims to identify the therapeutic targets that attenuate asthma and pulmonary fibrosis in pulmonary epithelial cells. Additionally, we investigate into the effects and mechanisms of bioactive compounds on altering various cellular features, including tight junction complex, cellular senescence, inflammation and epithelial-mesenchymal transition. Approaches that we have applied include the cell-based assays, high-resolution imaging and high-content screening.
