Education Program in Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital
One of the main missions of the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital is to produce staff in the field of medical sciences with a high level of knowledge and ability, ready to take a hands-on approach, with eagerness to learn more to improve oneself, and with a researcher's mind that always wants to seek a wide range of knowledge and then become a leader in the health care of people.
Up to the present time, the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital has produced over 3,500 medical graduates, 2,500 medical specialists in various fields, and 3,000 nurses. These graduates have become prominent persons in both public and private organizations.
We offer three programs at the undergraduate level and numerous programs at the Master degree and PhD levels in various fields.
Undergraduate Programs: Thai Programs
• Bachelor Degree of Medicine: 160 students per year In our six-year
Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) program, students will spend their first Year studying pre-med courses at the Salaya Campus and then continue their second and third years in pre-clinical studies at the Faculty of Science, Phayathai Campus. After completing their third year of study, students will spend another three years (4th -6th Year) in Clinical Studies at the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Phayathai Campus.
• Bachelor Degree of Nursing Science: 180 students per year
In our four-year Nursing Science program, students are required to study at the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Nursing, Salaya Campus during the first year. After their first year of study, they will be required to enroll in a practice placement together with lecture sessions at the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital and other Institutions. The students also have the opportunity to join the International Exchange Programs with foreign students from Japan, Denmark and Sweden.
• Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders: 30 students per year
(Including both Majors: Audiology and Speech and Language Pathology)
