Students enrolled in the Thai undergraduate program spend the first two years of the course at Mahidol University’s Salaya campus to study foundational and introductory courses before moving to the main campus at Phayathai. International graduate and doctorate students spend the entire duration of their study at the Phayathai Campus.
The Phayathai Campus is located on a 78-acre plot of land near Victory Monument in central Bangkok and is surrounded by lively commercial and residential neighbourhoods. The campus is easily accessible by public transport, namely the BTS Skytrain and two other train stations located nearby.
The Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital provides a dormitory for medical and nursing students, and international students can also reserve a room for the duration of their study. Each faculty at Phayathai Campus has its own cafeteria but there are many other highly affordable options in the vicinity.
Students have access to Ramathibodi Hospital’s Sports Center in addition to several indoor and outdoor fields and courts located on campus. There are also numerous student clubs that cater to a diverse range of academic and cultural interests.
