


Ramathibodi School of nursing participated in the academic conference on the achievements in tobacco control by nurses, 17th, held by Nurses Network for Tobacco Control of Thailand, The Nurses’ Association of Thailand
Instructor Dr. Sangduen Piyatrakul, Nursing instructor, Division of Community Health Nursing, and consultant of Ramathibodi nursing student club “Smoke-Free Society,” together with Ms. Suphaphit Nurak, a first-year nursing student and Ms. Narumon Partumsoot, a general administration officer, the representatives from Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, participated in the academic conference on the achievements in tobacco control by nurses, 17th, held by Nurses Network for Tobacco Control of Thailand, The Nurses’ Association of Thailand.
The conference was held under the theme of “Nurses say no to e-cigarettes: Nursing capacity development for a smoke-free Thai society.” The objective is to exchange knowledge on tobacco control operations and apply the knowledge gained to patients to help them quit tobacco by nurses.
At the conference, there were exhibitions and presentations about tobacco control to promote and exchange concepts, theories, academic knowledge, research, and nursing innovation on tobacco control.
Participants were registered nurses, nurse educators, nursing students, healthcare personnel, and people who interested.
