Associate Professor Dr. Poolsuk Japeanich Visudtibhan, the Director of Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, presided over the scholarship awarding ceremony for Ramathibodi nursing students with the board of Director of Ramathibodi School of Nursing members joining the ceremony.
Ms. Maleerat Pluemchitchom, Chair of the Rotary Scholarship Subcommittee, District 3350, introduced Rotary Club executives. Mr. Nakarin Ratanakitsunthorn, Chair of Rotary Foundation, District 3350, and a former Governor of District 3350, to give a speech on the objectives of the scholarships. Mr. Mitsutaka Iida, District Governor of District 3350, Rotary International, made a congratulatory remark to the students who received scholarships from Rotary Club. There are 10 scholarships (10000 baht per scholarship) provided for nursing students. The representative of students who received scholarships expressed their gratitude and gave garlands to the donors.
This donation aims to encourage students and give educational support to underprivileged students who need financial support. The scholarship would help the students to have a better quality of living and studying and help them graduate to be professional nurses to give standard care to patients.
