The Deputy Director of Research and Innovation Management and the positions new successor traveled to visit the University of Washington, USA

 

 

                                    On June 6, 2022, Associate Professor Dr. Suparb Areeue, Deputy Director of Research and Innovation Management and Assistant Professor Dr. Inthira Roopsawang (Dr. Areeue’s successor) of Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathbodi Hospital, Mahidol University visited the University of Washington, USA to experience their care system and health promotion for elderly patients with dementia.
                   Our colleagues were welcomed by Ms. Marigrace Becker, Program Manager of Community Education and Impact MBWC; and the Director of The Memory Hub: A Place for Dementia-Friendly Community, Collaboration, and Impact.
                      In the afternoon, Dr. Suparb and Dr. Inthira participated in the Spring Tea event with the faculty members from Biobehavioral Nursing and Health Informatics to share experience in their areas of interests. Heather Wicklein Sanchez, Manager of de Tornyay Center for Healthy Aging, also Paige Bartlett, Public Information Specialist presented information on the operational systems of elderly care. Moreover, Dr. Suparb and Dr. Inthira met Professor Dr. Basia Belza, the Director of de Tornyay Center for Healthy Aging to discuss the cooperation between schools in terms of systematic elderly care and research.
