“Day 2 in Japan: The University of Tokyo”
Assistant Professor Dr. Jumpee Granger, Deputy Director for International Relations, and Assistant Professor Dr. Nareemarn Neelapaichit, Assistant Director of Student Affairs, Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, together with Mrs. Araya Haupala, Head of Management and Development in the Nursing Personnel Section, Ms. Dusida Santikunapon, Assistant Director of the Nursing Service Division, Ms. Rungthiwa Kantawan, Head of the Specialized Outpatient Nursing Section, and Mrs. Noppakan Wannakansophon, Head of Management and Development in Nursing Personnel, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, visited the University of Tokyo, Japan on April 18, 2023.
The visit was welcomed by Professor Dr. Noriko Yamamoto-Mitani, Professor of Gerontological Homecare and Long-term Care Nursing, the Director of the Global Nursing Research Center (GNRC), and Head of the Graduate School of Health Science and Nursing, the University of Tokyo.
After that, Professor Dr. Mari Ikeda, Professor of Department of Family Nursing, the University of Tokyo and Professor Dr. Gojiro Nakagami, Professor of Department of Gerontological Nursing/Wound Care Management, Division of Health Science and Nursing Graduate School of Medicine, the University of Tokyo, led the delegations to visit the Research Center and the University of Tokyo Hospital. The visit was to experience the Outpatient service in the hospital, including a collaborative discussion on education and student exchange.
