










The Director of Ramathibodi School of Nursing welcomed the delegation from the U.S. Embassy Bangkok, Thailand.
On June 11, 2025, Professor Piyamitr Sritara, MD, President of Mahidol University, together with the university executives welcomed H.E. Robert F. Godec, U.S. Ambassador to Thailand, Department of State; Dr. Jacqueline Mourot, Cultural and Education Attache, the U.S. Embassy Bangkok; and Ms. Supiengpitch Phornroekngam, Public Engagement Specialist from the U.S. Embassy Bangkok.
The visit included discussions focused on academic collaboration with U.S. higher education institutions, access to U.S. research funding, and opportunities for student and faculty exchanges.
On this occasion, Associate Professor Dr. Poolsuk Janepanish Visudtibhan, Director of Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, presented the Doctor of Philosophy Program in Nursing Science (Dual Program: BNS to PhD), a collaborative program between Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital and Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing, Case Western Reserve University. This initiative marks the first academic partnership between Thailand and the United States in implementing a joint educational program. H.E. Robert F. Godec, U.S. Ambassador to Thailand, expressed interest in the program with full support to promote academic collaboration between the two countries and to elevate nursing programs to sustainable international standards.
