Promoting the application of the new technology in virtual world ecosystem (Metaverse Ecosystem) for Metaverse in Anatomy and VR for Palliative Care projects.
On December 4, 2023, Associate Professor Dr. Poolsuk Janepanish Visudtibhan, Director of Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, attended a press conference on “Promoting the application of the new technology in virtual world ecosystem” (Metaverse Ecosystem) for Metaverse in Anatomy and VR for Palliative Care projects organized by the Medical Innovations Development (MIND) Center, under the group of Excellent Centers, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, in collaboration with the Office of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC). The objective was to present the results of promoting and applying digital technology innovation in the medical field of the working group. Professor M.L. Chagriya Kitiyakara, Head of Medical Innovations Development (MIND) Center, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, reported on the event. Moreover, Professor Piyamitr Sritara, M.D., Dean of Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, gave an overview of the working group's operations. Clinical Professor Sarana Boonbaichaiyapruck, Chairman of the NBTC, also highlighted promoting the development of infrastructure for the new technology of the NBTC.
