Plan 1 : Research only

Plan 1.1 : For students with Master’s Degree

  1. Total time of study should not exceed the study plan;
  2. Students may study additional courses as suggested by adviors and must complete their dissertation with at least 48 credits in total;
  3. Students must meet the English Competence Standard of Graduate Students, Mahidol University defined by the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University;
  4. Students must pass qualifying examination;
  5. Students must participate in and pass the standard professional and personal skills development activities required for the graduate students in Mahidol University;
  6. Students must pass the dissertation defense by following the Academic Regulations of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University; and the oral thesis defense must be open to public;
  7. Two publications as parts of dissertation or dissertation are accepted to publish in international academic journal(s) by following the Regulations of the Office of the Higher Education Commission, Thailand and the Regulations of Dissertation Publishing for Graduation in a Doctoral Degree Program, Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol university.

Plan 2 : Course work and research

Plan 2.1 : For students with Master’s Degree

  1. Total time of study should not exceed the study plan;
  2. Students must complete their courses as stated in the curriculum with at least 48 credits in total including courses (12 credits) and dissertation (36 credits);
  3. Students must complete their courses with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00;
  4. Students must meet the English Competence Standard of Graduate Students Mahidol University defined by the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University;
  5. Students must pass qualifying examination;
  6. Students must participate in and pass the standard professional and personal skills development activities required for the graduate students in Mahidol University;
  7. Students must pass the dissertation defense by following the Academic Regulations of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University; and the oral dissertation defense must be open to public;
  8. Dissertation or a part of dissertation is accepted to publish in an international academic journal by following the Regulations of the Office of the Higher Education Commission, Thailand and the Regulations of Dissertation Publishing for Graduation in a Doctoral Degree Program, Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University.
