Overview

Admission Policy:

1. The patients must have an agreed primary attending doctor.

2. National identification (ID) card or passport of the patients and guardians must be shown when contacting the hospital staffs for admission.

3. Before admission, a partial deposit of the estimated total cost will be required.

4. Generally, only one relative (≥12 years old and healthy) is allowed to accompany the patient in a room. Fee of THB100/night will be charged for an additional person to stay overnight. No relative is allowed to stay over in pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) or intermediate care ward.

5. In case the patients need to be transferred to PICU or intermediate care ward, the room will be made available for other patients. 

6. The room charge is calculated upon selected room type on 24 hours basis. For admission of >6 hours, the charge of at least one night will be applied. For a short admission of ≤6 hours, the room charge of THB 2,000 will be applied.

7. The charge of THB 1,000 will be applied upon requests to change the room within the same room type.

8. Unless allowed otherwise by the attending doctor, it is mandatory that the patients consume food prepared and provided by the hospital. This is to optimize nutrition conditions of the patients.

9. The nutrition department is open from 7 am to 6 pm daily.

10. In case the cost is to be paid by affiliated or contracted company, the following documents are required to be presented: the original referral documents, employee ID card and national ID card.

11. In case the cost is to be reimbursed from insurance company, please inform the hospital staffs at the admission unit before admission. The insurance ID and national ID will be required.

12. Please note that any costs incurred during admission cannot be reimbursed by the Universal Coverage Scheme.  

13. Accumulative costs of admission will be summarized and informed every 3 days, so that partial payment by credit card or cash can be made.

14. Pets, cooking, smoking, drinking alcohol and drug abuse (including cannabis and cannabinoid) are prohibited in the patient’s room.

15. For your safety, please do not bring valuable items into the patient’s room. The hospital will take no responsibility in case of lost.

16. The patients and/or guardians are responsible for arranging translator, if needed.

17. The parking is available free of charge for 1 car/room/day.

18. Patient visiting hours are generally between 8 am to 8 pm. With E-stamp requested from the ward staffs, visitors have to pay the parking fee of THB 10/hour for the first 12 hours, and THB 20/hour if park >12 hours. However, visitors are not allowed during COVID-19 situation.
