Advice for traveling by public transportation

1.  Bus

1.1  Rama VI road route: 

  • Take a bus number 8, 44, 67, 92, 97, 157, 171, 509, and 538.
  • Get off a bus at the Government Pharmaceutical Organization (GPO) station.
  • Cross the overpass in front of the GPO.
  • Walk along the skywalk to the Somdech Phra Debaratana Medical center (SDMC).

1.2  Rajavithi road route:

  • Take bus numbers 12, 28, 108, 515, 539, and 542.
  • Get off a bus at the Neurological Institute of Thailand (NIT) station. 
  • The SDMC is located next to the NIT.

2.  Sky train (Bangkok Mass Transit System, BTS)

2.1  Get off at the Victory Monument station and travel according to instructions.

Route 1: 

  • Go down along Rajavithi road and turn left at the Tuek Chai intersection. 
  • Cross the overpass opposite the SDMC.

Route 2: 

  • Go down along Yothi road and turn right at the intersect point of Rama VI road. 
  • Walk along the skywalk to the SDMC.

2.2  Get off at the Phaya Thai station (airport rail link)

  • Go down to Sri Ayutthaya road and turn right at Sri Ayutthaya intersection then go down along Rama VI road. 
  • Walk along the skywalk to the SDMC.

3.  Train

  • Get off at Ramathibodi station, which is behind the Ramathibodi Hospital.

 

Advice for traveling by private vehicle

“Ramathibodi Hospital has limited parking spaces. Please use public transport or a taxi whenever possible.”

Parking areas

1.  The Ramathibodi Foundation Parking Building (in front of the main building of the hospital)

Available time: Mon-Fri: 4 pm. to 9 pm. 

            Sat-Sun: 6 am. to 9 pm.   

 Parking fee: None (parking card must be stamped at the registration counter of OPD)

2.  The Research Office Parking Building (behind the hospital) 

Available time: Mon-Fri: 4 pm. to 9 pm. 

            Sat-Sun: 6 am. to 9 pm.     

Parking fee: None (parking card must be stamped at the registration counter of OPD)

3.  The Somdech Phra Debaratana Medical Center

Available time: Mon-Sun: 24 hr.                
Parking fee: 

  • 10 Baht per 1 hr. (parking card must be stamped at the registration counter 
    of OPD)
  • 100 Baht per 1 hr. (if parking card does not be stamped)

4.  The Nang Loeng Racecourse (Royal Turf Club of Thailand) Parking Area 

Available time: Mon-Fri: 6 am. to 9 pm.             
Parking fee: None 

Shuttle service to Ramathibodi Hospital: From 6.30 am. to 8.30 am., 10 am. to 2.30 pm., and 5 pm. to 6.30 pm.

Child and adolescent healthcare center: 3rd floor, zone N of the Somdech Phra Debaratana Medical Center.
