On November 12–13, 2025, Clinical Professor Artit Ungkanont, M.D., Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, along with Assistant Professor Suchin Worawichawong, M.D., Deputy Dean for International Relations, joined a distinguished delegation from Mahidol University, led by Professor Piyamitr Sritara, M.D., President, on a strategic visit to prominent academic and research institutions in China to advance academic exchange, strengthen institutional networks, enhance existing collaborations, and foster sustainable partnerships.
On the first day, November 12, 2025, the delegation visited Peking University Third Hospital and the Peking University Health Science Center, where they were welcomed by Professor Wang Jiadong, Vice President of the Health Science Center. The delegation then proceeded to the China National Center for Bioinformation (CNCB), affiliated with the Beijing Institute of Genomics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and was greeted by Professor Yungui Yang, Director of CNCB
On the second day, November 13, 2025, the delegation visited Tsinghua Medicine, Tsinghua University, where they were welcomed by Professor Wang Hongwei, Vice President of Tsinghua University.
Throughout the visit, the delegation engaged in substantive discussions with representatives from each institution, gaining valuable insights into their academic programs, research capabilities, and institutional priorities. These exchanges have established a strong foundation for future collaborative endeavors that will benefit both Mahidol University and its Chinese partner institutions.
