Virtual Exchange Activity with Shinshu: 2nd Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL)

November 15, 2021, 12.30 PM – 13.30 PM, Shinshu University School of Medicine, Japan, together with the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, Thailand, co-hosted a Virtual Exchange Activity under the theme of "Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL)" via the web conferencing platform Zoom. The registered participants of the virtual event, which amounted to 52 attendees from both Ramathibodi and Shinshu, joined in the interesting small group discussion sessions including the topics about “Activity after school, hobby, How to make friends and cultivate friendship”, “Activity after school, Trend in Thailand/Japan, Food culture and habits”, “Activity after school, Communication between students, How to eat dinner with students”, “Activity after school, How to study every day, Trend in Thailand/Japan”, “Activity after school, School activity under pandemic, How to learn English”, and last but not least, “COVID-19, Attraction of Thailand/Japan”. On this occasion, Prof. Naoki Tanaka, Professor of the International Relations Office in Shinshu University School of Medicine, also attended the activity as the host of COIL’s activity, while Asst.Prof.Suchin Worrawichawong, Assistant Dean for International Relations of Ramathibodi, kindly attended the event as the observer.

This was the 2nd Virtual Exchange Activity under the theme of "Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL)" cooperating between Ramathibodi and Shinshu which aimed to encourage the medical students - from both Ramathibodi and Shinshu - to share and exchange their knowledge experience as well as to promote students' opportunities in practicing English communication skill despite the pandemic era.
