On December 9, 2025, at the Meeting Room of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, Associate Professor Arb-Aroon Lertkhachonsuk, M.D., Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, together with Assistant Professor Suchin Worawichawong, M.D., Deputy Dean for International Relations, along with the faculty staff of the Department, provided a warm welcome to Professor Christian Fiala, M.D., Ph.D., an international expert in Reproductive Health Care from Karolinska University Hospital (Stockholm, Sweden) and Gynmed Clinic (Vienna, Austria) on the occasion of his visit to Ramathibodi’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Professor Fiala also delivered a special lecture titled: “Abortion and Society: Autonomy Refused - The Ethics and Impact of Conscientious Objection in Reproductive Healthcare.”
The objective of this session was to exchange global knowledge, foster a deeper understanding of Medical Ethics, and broaden perspectives on Reproductive Health Care among faculty members, residents, and medical students. This initiative aims to further enhance the standards of patient care and academic excellence.

โดยการบรรยายในครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ระดับสากล สร้างความเข้าใจด้านจริยธรรมทางการแพทย์ (Medical Ethics) และเปิดมุมมองใหม่ๆ เกี่ยวกับการดูแลสุขภาพสตรี (Reproductive Health Care) ให้แก่คณาจารย์ แพทย์ประจำบ้าน และนักศึกษาแพทย์ เพื่อนำไปสู่การพัฒนามาตรฐานการรักษาพยาบาลให้ดียิ่งขึ้น
