Between July 27 - 29, 2023, Associate Professor Usanarat Anurathapan, M.D., Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Education, as the representative of the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, Thailand, attended the 12th ASEAN Medical Deans' Summit hosted by the ASEAN Medical Deans Summit (AMDS) organizing committee from Universiti Malaya, Malaysia. The highly anticipated 3-day summit of this year was organized under the theme "Towards the Development of Future Ready ASEAN Health Professionals".
The ASEAN Medical Deans’ Summit (AMDS) was founded by 12 ASEAN higher education institutions. The AMDS was arranged to promote collaboration among leading medical schools in the ASEAN region, to leverage medical education and health systems towards international excellence, and to prepare to work as one community.
