Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs)

At the end of teaching according to the curriculum, graduates will have the following skills and knowledge:

  1. Have morals, academic ethics, research and professional ethics.
  2. Able to integrate knowledge from nursing science, psychiatric and mental health nursing, neuropharmacology, fundamentals of biology and human behavior in planning for nursing care for people with psychiatric and mental health problems. 
  3. Able to practice advanced nursing practice in psychiatric nursing to provide care for people with psychiatric and mental health problems both in hospitals and in multicultural communities, especially individual and group counseling/psychotherapy.
  4. Able to conduct research to develop knowledge in psychiatric and mental health nursing. Analyze, process quantitative and qualitative data using digital technology and information management to be used to suggest solutions to problems in health and nursing.

The higher education curriculum in Thailand need to follow the framework of Thai Qualifications Framework for Higher Education (TQF). The TQF1 is as the National Professional standards framework that shows the quality of graduates at all levels. The TQF1 in the master’s degree program has five domains of students’ learning outcomes including:

  • Ethics and morals  
  • Knowledge                   
  • Cognitive skills
  • Interpersonal skills and responsibility
  • Numerical, communication and information technology skill
