| Background and Significance | Surveying the level of domestic violence is a crucial component in identifying problems within Thai society. In finding root causes to problems, and the conditions of which problems arise, a 'database' was created for surveillance and to promote warning signs of domestic violence, in addition to leading to appropriate solutions and management of such problems. |

| Project Results | The Department of Women's Affairs and Family, at the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, has used information from this database as an indicator for monitoring the prevalence at the percentage level of violence against women and family members in the Family Action Plan 2020-2022 (BE 2563-2565), strategy 4. This strategy aims to provide families with support, protection, and development for all forms of social networks. |
