| Project Name | Project: Things for Rescuers to Know Upon First Response |
| Background and Significance | Today, most health problems in Thailand are caused by Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), with conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, and high blood cholesterol. Such conditions are the causes of cardiac arrhythmia and sudden cardiac arrest, which can lead to death. If proper and effective care is not recieved upon a timely manner, methods of resuscitation are neccessary. In order for the heart to return to normal, chest compressions and defribillation must be performed before a patient can recieve medical help. In order to educate people and spread knowledge on methods of resuscitation, this program draws emphasis on essential details in the practice of basic resuscitation skills with the average person, in any community, as the target audience. |
