Background and Significance In accordance to the Thai Government's 4.0 Development Model, the Medical Innovations Development Center (MIND Center) was established in order to fulfill the requirement to lay foundations to sustain long-term sustained nationwide development over the course of 20 years in the areas of innovation in science and technology. Three faculties from Mahidol University: the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, the Faculty of Engineering, and the Faculty of Science; have joined to promote the MIND Center as a co-working space centered on medical device development and health innovation. Experts from various fields, including doctors, scientists, and engineers jointly research, create, and develop technologies that meet healthcare needs.

Purpose To provide excellence in service in the research and development of equipment and innovations in the field of medicine: including being a foundation for interdisciplinary development in science, medicine, engineering, and the private sector. With this, the MIND Center aims to improve the quality of life of patients and the elderly in Thailand.
Activities The MIND Center offers a 'One Stop Service' in the development of medical equipment and innovations. As the Center is a resource of information with expertise from varying fields in the sciences and the private sector, projects from the Center are collaborative in spirit for the sake of research, and aims to develop new ways to improve the quality of life of the population in Thailand, in addition to create commercial market value within the nation.
